got one finally, to replace the bolt when cleaning. You know, centers the rod and keeps solvent where it should be. you fellas shamed me into this purchase. Even bought a one-piece rod and adjustable stopper. assuming the stopper is to keep the patch holder from popping out the crown. Question: brass brush won't reverse direction in bore, so I assume you MUST exit the crown and pull back. Or should I unscrew the brush while it's sticking out the muzzle? I never thought the brass bristles could damage a steel crown
