Finally found a nice P&R 629 locally for a very good price unfortunately it didn't come with factory grips. I like the look of the VZ Micarta grips but they don't make them for a square butt. Maybe just buy a set of factory targets any other idea's?

What does "P&R" mean? I own an S&W 629, so I think I get that 629 part.

I liked the Pachmyrs that came on my used 625JM so much that I swapped them with the Hogues on my 629 5".

I have the 6" version of your gun,,,

I have the 6" version of your gun,,,
I named her Jezebel.

It came with these standard target grips, a set of Pachmayers, and a set of finger grooved Hogues.

The Pachmayers pinch my second finger against the trigger guard,,,
The Hogues are just too big for my K-Frame hands.

Of the three grips the Wood targets are the best fit for me,,,
But I do wish I could find something a bit more slender.

You're gonna love shooting your new gun,,,

Pinned and recessed. The barrel is pinned to the frame and the chambers are recessed.

Are those special virtues?

What is the function?

Why not in current production?
