Hi...you're in for a treat. I suggest you stay at laQuinta Airport at I44 and Sheridan. That is where I will be staying. there is a dennys in the parking lot
and a very good Seafood place about 1 mile North on sheridan, sorry,
I forget the name. Also Ricks Chicken is a very good local chain, and there is a RibCrib on Harvard avenue. various fast food available on Sheridan.
If it is full or you dont like LaQuinta, there is a super 8 next door and an independent accross the street.I stayed at the super8 last year.
It was Ok, but parking lot and spaces were very small, and since I nearly
got hit by a large truck I am staying at the Laquinta this year.
Dont wait till you get there to get a room, book it now. It is very easy
to get to the show in the morning. you Just go west on I44 to Yale ave.
and turn south to 21st st . Get there early (7:30) if you want a decent parking space. Wear comfy shoes and
keep an eye out for the lady who does back rubs for 1$ a minute. she stays pretty busy. Just about any
thing you can think of can be found there. Bring lots of money, and a notebook to write down the location of any
table you want to come back to. You must do this or you wont be able to find what you are looking for.
Trust me on this. The place is huge. What you wanted will probably be gone when you get back to it anyway. But it was there.
There is plenty of food available inside and some of it isnt bad. the bbq was
good last time I tried it.
My table is right next to the Kingston safe display, close to the main upstairs
entrance. Stop by and chat if you want.
