Fiocchi: Loaded in Italy vs Loaded in the US. Difference?

A year or so ago i bought a bunch of Fioochi that was made in Italy. It shot well and was on the clean side.

Just to be clear: I understand guns need to be cleaned after a range session, but I do not see any reason to shoot ammunition that is more dirty than other brands and will blow stuff deeper than can be gotten with a typical field strip cleaning.

So I am wondering if anyone is shooting the new loaded in America Fiocchi (Range Dynamics blue box) and finds it any different from the old Italian Fiocchi in regards to performance and cleanliness. thanks

I've not seen that stuff. I'll pick up some .45 acp if I see any. Ive always had good luck with fiocchi
I used to get Fiocchi 9mm from Shaw arms in the red box from Italy. It was on the clean side, but now all I see if the blue range dynamics. Maybe the red box is no longer imported into the US?

I have fired a few cases of each, 9mm rounds in the red box and now the new blue box. I have a .30 cal ammo can if the new 115 gr fmj stuff left from the most recent purchases. (On sale for 11 bucks a box. Here in Ca that’s a bargain.)

I didn’t notice anything different about performance or cleanliness. With both, my guns still needed to be cleaned when I was done with shooting.

Stay safe.

Shoot I just realized I had some kinda dyslexia of the memory their. I just went and looked at old boxes of spent brass and all I gave experience with is the blue box. It was .38 special and I don't recall it being particularly dirty as well as not having any swollen or split cases causing spent rounds to get stuck in the cylinder, which is the problem I've had with cheap ammo mostly blazer aluminum case stuff. So back to the point I in fact can feel comfortable recommending the blue box fiocchi for your revolver at least

Weirdly, the Range Dynamics 9mm would not chamber completely, or it would bind up the slide, of my new Taurus G3C. Every round. It was the first ammo I tried in that pistol so I admit my first reaction was, meh, Taurus.

But that gun has fired everything else I’ve put through it without a hitch. Not sure what’s different about the RD.

Only Fiochi rounds I have on hand are for the wife's 38 S&W revolver. Made in Italy mark on the side. Very easy to cleanup in her old Colt. But not much else to compare it too.

Just bought a box of .44mag the other day for $50:what:----we'll see how it shoots when my gun comes back from S&W.

Was $5 less than the equivalent Winchester White box loading and posted on the box nearly 200fps faster---win win????

Back 15+ yrsa go, I forget which scare, school shooting, political speech, election of wizardX, all I could get was reg Italiano Fiocchi. Shot FAB, no problems. I have shot the USA stuff , no problems HAPPY and good thru all flavors, 9MM, 40, shotgun clay birds/quail/ducks. REALLY good pheasant loads, longer range goose non-toxic

Haven’t dealt with Fiocchi from overseas, but unless they’re using the exact same components you can expect some difference. Whether it’s enough to matter for you only you can answer.

i did find out that with Armscor their overseas .38spl has about a 10 unit lower power factor than the US made version. How did I find out? At a match of course.
