So last saturday I had the opportunity (Wife & child left to visit relatives :D) to take my aR to sight it in. I had finished building this AR last december, after a long 8 months of slowly buying parts for it. Then had to wait for a window of opportunity to finally shoot it for 4 months. So 1 year later after starting it, I fired it. I was very impressed with it's performance. no hiccups whatsoever. It was my first build, which utilized; Spike's tactical receiver, EFX full length modular stock, Grizzly LAR OPS-4 Side charging upper with a Stag arms 1:9 20" Heavy Barrel. The handguard is standard A2 and will be switched to a Magpul MOE handguard. I will try to post a photo when i get home, right now I am at work.

Anyways, I sighted it in and used a 25 Meter BZO target, which proved to be a great success. I made a video which is on my Youtube page if anyone cares to see it. (The video is a bit boring, though :uhoh:) But i will post a photo asap! Link to my Youtube page http://www.youtube.com/theliberator88 The title is obvious when you see it.

Nice job, I like the way it looks. Net idea on the side charging handle.

AWESOME:D I love that upper with the side charging handle. Makin' me think about building one similar.

I figured since i have an AK, a PSL, and a Mini-14, i would also make this a right side charger. not to mention, forward assists are silly IMO. The charging handle does both, why bother with extra weight and parts?

I think charging handle on the left makes a lot of sense for a right-handed shooter.
