Firestorm-Llama Magazines

I have searched the web for a couple of hours and can find no information on the interchangeability of Mags for Llama/Firestorm pistols. I thought I would ask the folks here, as someone may have had some experience with this question. I bought a Firestorm Mini Compac 45, which is the Para-Ordnance 10/Warthog size, 10 shot 45 cal 1911 type pistol. I'm looking for an aftermarket mag. Does anyone know of any other mags that are interchangeable with this model? I think the Llama Mini Max II may be, but I can't verify it anywhere on the web. I would appreciate your replies if anyone can help me out.

Llama makes the Firestorm single action 1911 type pistols and yes, the magazines will interchange between the Llama and the Firestorm but no other makers magazines will interchange.

The Llama 10 shot mini max45 is same pistol. Pro mag makes mags. I hope yours works mine has been nothing but trouble Replaced extractor at about 350 rounds. Pistol a real pain. Only depenable if load 8 rounds in mag and then only with Wolf 230 ball Then it runs 100% any thing else jam city. Yes Ive had it worked on. I shoot it but would never trust for carry. Thats mine let hope yours is a lot better.

Michael T, My mini compact would not feed anything reliably when I first got it. I polished the feed ramp and frame with a felt wheel and jewelers rouge with my dremel, and it feeds everything now, even lead bullets. The remaining problem that I have is that the cases eject right into my hat or safety glasses. If I can correct that, the gun will be ok. I would'nt carry the one I have either. Too many reliable guns out there to trust the Firestorm/Llama for that postion. Did your extractor break, or wear out. I'm thinking about ordering one as a spare if they break easily.

Mine broke and now I have a spare also. I understand this is a weak point in Llama I really like the gun but its so frustating trying to get it to work. I keep at it at least it will shoot wolf now and thats a start. Ive always shot it . Its great for Malfuction drills.

Actually,
Llama/Firestorm "1911" type pistols, I believe they call it the Max-I 45 or something like that, will accept standard 1911 magazines. I tried it in a gunshop recently. Mag from a mil-spec springfield went right into a Llama.

I have a Firestorm Goverment 45 and use wilson 47d mags no problems at all have fired 850 rounds through gun since i got it March 3rd (UMC hardball(750) and 230grn Hydroshocks(100)) with not a single problem.

You guys are right the standard Firestorm guns will accept any GI Or Officers type magazine depending on model.
The pistol plateshooter is asking about is the Micro Max with the double column 10 shot magazine.

Thanks to Michael T for the information. I ordered the Pro Mag part number LLA 07 listed for the Llama Mini Max II. It works fine in the Firestorm Mini Compact. Firestorm wants 50 bucks for a mag, Midway had it for 35 bucks less.

LENNYJOE: NO the pistol were talking is a small 1911 style like a Colt Defender or a Para Warthog. All the Firestorm 1911 style pistols are Llama The picture you posted is from the Bersa family. Firestorm makes no guns themselves.
