As I posted here a few days ago I had a problem with my finger stinging when shooting my CZ Rami. Contacted Mike at CZ and he said it may be something as simple as changing the firing pin block, which he was sending out to me asap. Pretty cool on his part I must say. Anybody have any thoughts on this possible fix. I really don't know much about the internal working of guns. I am just a point and shoot kind of guy and I know my limits when tinkering and will probably need a smith to change it out for me. So I'd like to hear from some of you in the know about why changing it may tame the trigger vibration which is causing the stinging in my finger.

Trigger Sting

I owned an CZ P-01 and an CZ SP-101. Bought them new.

Found the trigger sting was related to the shape of the trigger (more curved than the regular CZ 75B).

I sent both guns out to have their triggers replaced with the regular CZ 75 B trigger.

No more trigger sting.

Mike at CZ no doubt knows more than I do as to causes of sting being the firing pin block. It may be that I dunno.

All I know is both those guns really stung my finger and was no fun to shoot them until I had the triggers replaced. All else was left stock.
Bought them because I already had owned and liked an 75B before.

Aside from that- very very good guns.
