Hey guys this is my first post on here as well as my first camo spray paint job. I used Krylon Camoflauge Khaki, Olive Green, and Brown. I started of with the base coat of khaki, then i did the vegatation method with the olive and brown then did a light coat of the khaki with the vegitation method in spots I thought were to dark. I still think it maybe a little to dark for here in tucson but I'm gonna wait atleast a week before I take it out in the desert to see how it really blends in. I also think next time I may start off with a coat of black spray on rubber bed liner on the stock to give it a better feel and grip.

I did a Savage stock in a winter colors using Krylon. I sprinkled some very fine sand blasting sand on the stock where the checkering was when the paint was wet.

It has provided excellent grip and has held up fine for years.

Thanks guys. I just started preadator calling about 6 months ago and this has been the rifle I take out, Its gonna be getting retired soon though because I just ordered a new Rock River Preadator Pursuit upper for my Rock River Lower I put together and I figured I try first on the Rem 700 before I went and painted my brand new upper
