First gun for carry...PPS or G26

I have a 26. Honestly though they are both perfectly serviceable weapons and good guns. I remember agonizing over which gun to choose as my first carry gun. I have since realized that there isn't really a right choice. I now own Kahrs, glocks, sigs, S&Ws, Colt, etc and realize that any number of them will work just fine. Go handle them, pick which seems best or flip a coin and then test for function and become proficient. Either will do.

I will say with a good belt and a good holster I do not think the 26 is very hard to carry or conceal, nor is a G19 IMHO. A thinner gun like the Kahrs hides a bit better but not a huge difference. For me a Kahr k9 or P9 is about the ideal size carry gun. It is very easily concealed in just about anything I might wear and yet large enough to shoot well and manipulate easily. The G26 is slightly bigger but the extra rounds are nice and I personally shoot it better than the P9 on the clock (of course I shoot it more too so its not really a fair comparison.)
