here is a pic of my first six shots from my Uberti Walker.

25 yrds
777-fffg= 50 gr
wonder wad
.457 RB
RWS caps

I have no idea where the missing two went, there are many holes in the backing board at my backyard range.

I would have to say that I am pleased. I will no doubt improve my groupings the more I get used to the sights. This is the first time I have shot a cap and ball other than my ROA in over a decade.

a better pic, scanned instead of photo

If you keep shooting 50gr FFF 777 you are going to at the very least ruin the wedge (it'll crush) or you could stretch the wedge cutout in the cylinder pin or loosen the cylinder pin from the frame. I know of one Walker that, when loaded with full charges of 777 sent the barrel assembly down range. Last thing I heard was that a gunsmith was trying to figure how to make an interesting looking pepperbox out of it. I ruined two wedges (one on each gun) by shooting 50grs FFFg Goex in my Walkers. Now I shoot FFg 44gr+.454 ball. I'm concerned you are going to develop excessive barrel/cylinder gap with those high end loads. The only thing holding that gun together is the steel above & below the wedge in the cylinder pin.
