I don't know what would be required to reduce the da pull. Why would you want to do that?? I know one of our board members had one of these a few years ago and his smith could not really tweak the trigger much.
I have had a couple of DA autos. CZ, H&K, Colt, and one or two others. The trigger on the FN compact is better than the trigger on the H&K compact (I used to own one) in my opinion. Its a service pistol, not a target pistol. You can cock it and shoot it SA only if you want to. I would say it is every bit as good as a CZ DA trigger.
The grip is a little shorter than a full sized HP. It fits my hand perfectly, I am able to get all three fingers below my trigger finger on the grip. The test I put all pistols to for grip is this, if I can pull it and shoot it then it passes. If I have to adjust my grip in any way after pulling it from my holster then it fails. This is the best auto I have ever had for this test. The grip to barrel angle is the same so it points just like my HP. The grips are not interchangeable with the HP, neither are the mags.
