Now that the asault weapons ban has expired, would it be legale to put a folding stock on a post ban AR15?

Not sure if you know this, but it's not that easy to put a folding stock on an AR-15. You have to get a purpose-designed lower reciever, a purpose designed upper receiver, bolt carrier, etc. It's really neat, but costs about $200-300 more than a conventional AR. All that for five inches... could be worth it. Olympic Arms sells the OA-93, but there might be a waiting list. ZM weapons sells a much more expensive gun. There's really nothing wrong with the M4 style stock IMO, if you REALLY NEED that extra five inches, go for it. You'll have bragging rights.
