For cold weather carry - what type of ammo do you prefer?

I pretty much stick to some type of hollow point depending on which gun.

200gr Corbon +p's backed up by
230gr Hornady XTP +p in .45ACP
worse case they act like hot FMJ but still won't punch through boths sides of a computer case or car door.
10mm is too expensive (even as a reloader), I don't like the idea if reloading with the shoulder in the 357Sig so my next step will probably be standard cap 9mm

Winter? South Texas doesn't have a winter. What is "winter". Oh, yeah, that's when it's not 105 degrees with 90 percent humidity. That's when you can be comfortable in 80 degree weather in a T shirt.
