I was up at a shop in Kenai today checking on a rifle that has been there for over two years waiting for a blue job.... long story....
While I was looking around there was a new Howa in 6.5x55mm..
It had a semi-Hogue style greenish tinted rubber coated stock and a better than ok blue job. It was very smooth like all Howa's. Plus it balanced very nicely.
In the past I used to not pay much attention to Howas but every since i got one in a trade last year, I have changed my mind.
Just another option for us 6.5x55 lovers.
