Forster co-ac press upgrades

I contacted Forster tech today and inquired about a negative effect on the warranty if I install the curved linkage arms and the Mike Manzella jaw holder. They informed me that they will effect parts of the press to be under warranty coverage.

I use the Manzella jaw holder without any problems. Did not go for the curved linkage however. Never thought about warranty issues.

I would not have contacted the company because you might be on record now.

I see no problem here. If somehow your Forster press breaks all you need to do is replace the original equipment before sending the press in for repairs. As long as the parts you installed did not cause the failure there is no ethical problem either.
