Its a sad thing to have happened. I wonder how the shooter got as far as he did at Fort Hood!! Unbelieveable. And anti-gun groups everywhere are gonna want to take away guns from military personnel now.
They already have taken guns away from military personnel. Possession and carry of privately owned firearms has been heavily regulated on post for decades....This subject is off topic.
