Found a pretty good holster for the 1862 police

This has been oiled, and I added a stitch or two around the fastening lug to keep the pistol for dropping in too far.
Not perfect, but not too bad a fit either.



They also have them in black for 19.00.

easiest way is to buy a leather, draw your revolver on paper, cut it out and make it fit, draw that on leather, cut it, glue it, make holes with smal bore on dremel or so, and stich it. Then take sandpaper and finish. Oil with olive oil and then paint it as you wish. fit revolver perfect.
