One of my local sporting good stores that I stop at after shooting got a small shipment of Hogdon powder in the other day. Scored 2 lbs of Titegroup to keep me fixed up for loading 357's for a while.

I have been using Power Pistol for 38's and Titegroup for the 357's. Now if I only could find some WST for the 45ACP.

Phil, good find! A bit fast for 357, but for plinking, it'll work.

I saw some WST was listed on gunbot the other day. That may be a sign that a fresh batch is making its way to the shelves. I sure could use a couple lbs. of it too.

I passed up an 8lb jug of Tightgroup the other day at Cabela's in KC. They had WST on the shelf too, in 1lb cans. I already have an unopened lb of WST that I've been looking for a reason to try so I left it there too for someone in need. They seem to get Tightgroup in pretty often and I always pass it up. Red Dot is the only really fast powder I really like, and I only use it for a few specific loads. I just don't like dealing with those small charge windows more than I have to.

I'm glad to hear people are finding useful powders more often. But PhilMc, it almost seems like you got things backwards. Power Pistol seems like it'd didn't better in the .357 and TG would be better in .38.
