Does anyone know of any handguns currently in production that are specifically made for 9mm and not chambered in any other round? One's I can think of:

Kimber Solo
Sig M11-A1, P210, P290
Browning Hi Power (40S&W no longer in production?)
Beretta Nano
Ruger LC9 and P95

Beretta Nano

While researching the Nano I came across numerous articles stating it was designed for the .40 and released in 9mm first for marketing purposes. Not sure if that is true or not.

What exactly do you mean by "specifically made for 9mm and not chambered in any other round"?

The Glock 17 was originally designed for 9x19 and still is today; its original design criteria, with reference to cartridge, is still being met. Does the advent of other Glock 17ish guns disqualify it in your question? With that in mind, are Ruger's SR9 and SR9c, both in 9x19, disqualified? Each was specifically designed for the 9x19 but are very similar in form to the SR40 and SR40c. But the SR9s were designed originally for 9x19 only and that's still the case.

I'm sure there are similar situations with many other gun makers.

Springfield Armory EMP. Actually available in 9mm and .40 but they've made a point of stating it was designed for those cartridges and not just "scaled down" from a .45ACP frame.

YEP!!

Do the Beretta 92 and 96 not use the same frame? Like the Glock 17 and 22?

The feed ramps are different in the berettas, but same dimensions otherwise. One of the many reasons you cannot go up in caliber in conversions

The CZ 75 series was designed for 9-mm specifically. Of course, CZ later branched out and made a standard CZ 75 in .40 S&W as well as designing newer models of the CZ 75 line-up chambered in 9-mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.
