Same thing happened under Reagan. Also amidst a recession. Also while waging a large and costly military campaign. Also why ney-sayers claimed such cuts would cripple the economy.

Who said the tax cuts would cripple the economy?

If you want to say the tax cuts are the reason the economy is doing well, bring some proof, maybe some article from an economist who has studied it.

Using terms like "cold, hard economics" just smells of desperation to make my argument look foolish. What makes your statements "cold and hard"?? heh.

Seriously, what large and costly military campaign was Reagan involved in? The cold war?.....

Maybe the burger I bought at McDonalds is the reason the economy is doing better. You do know the economy is cyclic. After a recession there's only one way but up. To attribute it to the tax cuts without substantiation is naive.

Tons of actions have been done by everybody, the federal reserve, the military industrial complex, congress, wall street, technology companies, pharmeceuticals, consumer spending, housing boom and slowdown. But no, it has to be the tax cuts that caused the economy's recovery....

foob

Who cares whether tax cuts help or hurt the economy? Bottom line is that the gov is stealing money from me, in the guise of taxes, to support dead beats like my son-in-law.

If they economy were in the tank, I'm certain the Bush Tax Cuts ("for the rich" - don't ya know) would be identified as the leading cause, substantiated or not, and loudly proclaimed as such by the mainstream media.

With a strong economy, however, the anti-Bush crowd are unwilling to conceed that the taxes didn't hurt, let alone help, the economy.

It's hilarious to witness the delusions of those afflicted with an unnatural hatred for our President.

That may be true, but they're stealing LESS than there were before the Bush tax cuts. Regardless of media spin, those who benefitted most from the cuts were lower and middle income individuals.
