I think I've come up with the perfect walnut 10/22 sporter. French walnut stock procured from Ebay. These were offered on a limited run of 10/22's, I think from TALO. Factory 18" clean barrel. KIDD bolt installed and single stage trigger en route. Burris Droptine Rimfire 2-7x in Warne rings.

That's got to be one the nicest looking 10/22s I have ever seen! That French walnut stock is over the top!

I always thought the Full Stock versions were the best looking, but that might have dethroned it. That's a great looking rifle.

I hope it shoots as good as it looks!

That is stunningly beautiful ! Thanks for all the photos. I must admit that I cannot recall ever seeing a 10/22 like that, and I've seen a lot of them.

Found out that these were from a run for TALO in 2009/2010. According to them, there were 1000 stainless and 1500 blued. Judging by the pictures, mine must've come from a stainless version as the blued model had Ruger eagles within the forend checkering. None I've seen have anywhere near as much figure. The rifle weighs a hair under 6lbs with scope and mounts.

Jesus that is entirely too nice for a 10/22. No disrespect to the 10/22 but damn.

    beautiful.
