Yup........ selling my PM9 Kahr and going back to a Glock. Tomorrow I'll buy the G26. The PM9 already has a buyer, who I've told all the reasons I want to get rid of it. But, he still wants it.

I wanted the smallest most potent package I could find. The PM9 seemed to fit that bill. Unfortunately it had a terrible trigger, I can't hit the broad side of a barn with it and it just plain felt uncomfortable. The only thing it fit well was my pocket. I also didn't feel comfy with just 6+1 capacity.

Anyway, my last Glock was a G30 which is much thicker, heavier and bigger than the G26, but it was a good shooter. Very accurate. I have a lot of range time with a G26, so I know what I'm getting. The G26 is a little bigger than the PM9, but it does hold at least 10+1. I also like Glock triggers a lot better.

Sounds like a sale based on personal prefence, nothing wrong with that. My hands don't like Glocks and can't hit the broad side of a barn with a g26, hence why I carry and love my MK9.

To each his own. I have the Kahr PM9 and would not trade it. I don't like the square slides on the glocks, springfield XD's or the sig's. They are too thick and ugly for me. Don't get me wrong, I have 2 sigs and they are great shooters but for carry, I find them too thick for my liking.

I love my G26 and shoot well with it.

That said, for my money the Kahrs have nicer triggers than Glocks do. (Shhhhhh, don't tell my G26 I said that!)

Sounds like everything boils down to personal preference. You're not getting rid of the Kahr because it's a bad gun; you're getting rid of it because it isn't the right gun for you. Nothing wrong with that.

I only ever dryfired an mk9 once, but it seemed to have quite a nice trigger to me. I keep being tempted to try one out, but just haven't taken the plunge...awfully pricey...would love to shoot one sometime, if nyone in upstate ny has one...hint, hint...;)

I've owned G26s for the past nine years. It's my favorite centerfire pistol design and I wear one 18 hours a day. They rock!

That said, I purchased my brother a PM9 lst year that's very accurate and 100% reliable. I also put one on layaway for myself last Saturday. I'd been waiting for XS to offer the Big Dot for the newer PM slides...now they do.

Don't know if it'll ever replace my G26 for carry but it is another option. Of course I might be on here crying about my new POS Kahr in a couple weeks. Stay tuned.

BTW-I think the Kahr triggers are one of the best out there. They remind me of a Perfomance Center tuned, S&W revolver's trigger. Smooooth!

I don't have the nines, but I do have both a Glock 27 and Kahr P-40. While the G-27 feeds a little easier and I like the higher capacity, it's just way too fat for deep concealment on ME. Also I much prefer the buttery smooth double action on the Kahr. It has Kahrs "elite" trigger that has less takeup than their standard trigger, although I had an MK-9 that had the standard trigger and it was still sweet, just not as sweet as the elite series and the "P" series pistols.
Is this a great country or what?!! WE can pick the one thats just right for US and nobody else has to approve, or even like it !!!

Kahr P9 is good for small hands

Wife and I were looking for a small 9mm for her. The G26 grip is way too big for a very small female hand while the Kahr P9 fit her hand like a glove. She rented a P9 at a range, then bought one. She loves the P9 and feels very confident firing it at the range. And she likes the trigger pull better than other handguns she's fired. Now she is eager to go to the range and practice.
