Ok folks, my first 1927 Sistema (1960's produced) has now been all but stripped down to the frame and replaced with just about every part gearing up to become a daytime range shooter. I've just finally gotten my new Slide from Numrich - Front / Rear / Top serrations, and I'm in process of getting everything fitted and honed down to fit properly.

The last thing I need to do, is to find a set of sights for this ol'girl. I do not plan to carry this 1911 (have a 3" one for that), this will only be going to the range, perhaps taking part in some competitive shooting at the club. I'm looking for function and good target shooting. I'd rather not have 283 ways to adjust the sights, always seems like a possible point of failure, but if y'all strongly suggest it, I'll look into the option.

I've been eyeing this rear sight from Dawson and I like the simple nature of the sight.

For a front sight... what would you all suggest for use in a 65 degree x .330" dovetail front sight cut, designed for daytime use (read: no tritium needed) and for hitting paper at 25yds and on.

I'd appreciate any suggestions, and I've not purchased any sights so going a whole new route is possible, but I'd like to keep it clean and useful.

Thanks.
