G26 for daily carry?

The G26 is one compact pistol that shoots like a full size. I carry mine easily in a simple IWB kydex clip on holster.
Brick? Not in my medium sized hands. Often, I carry it with the flat base 10rd mag, with a 12 or 15 round mag for backup.

I've had two, the first one was traded off for a S&W .44 Magnum years ago. The second one came to me used right before Obama's first election. It's the smallest pistol I feel comfortable shooting regularly like a full-size model. Mine gets called up regularly for woods walking and other duty. In a Desantis Nemesis is just fits inside my front pocket, which clears my waist for a backpack hip belt.

Every once in a while for funsies I'll even set up at the 50 yard line on the rifle range and drop rounds onto an IDPA silhouette with the 26. It also works great with the 17 and 33-rd magazines from its bigger sibling. Absolutely great shooting little pistol and this second one is NOT for trade or sale.

Just got my first two accessories for the glock. One was an UpLULA loader. The ease in loading magazines on my arthritic hands is like night and day compared to the stock Glock loader. Without any loader I can only get 5-6 rounds in. I'm keeping the mags loaded to see if the springs will soften a bit.

I also got two Pierce +1 magazine extensions. The texture perfectly matches the two finger grooves, giving in essense a third groove, yet the back of the grip is no longer than with a stock grip, so it should conceal almost as easily as a stock magazine.

Still waiting on Old Faithfull to build me a holster kit. When I ordered they estimated a Dec 15 ship date, so I knew it would be a while.

I have a pierce +2 extension. I can't carry IWB with it because it sticks out too much. Even though most of the added length is on the lower side, when the gun is canted in a holster even a little bit that lower extension sticks out.

I'm not in any way a glock fan, but even I have to admit the G26 I own is a pretty nice pistol. The rest of the Glocks they can keep. They do absolutely nothing for me.

I'm still wishing they made a slim 26 like the 36. Love my 36.

How I carry,.....

I carry my G26 IWB with a Galco Triton kydex at 5-o'clock with FBI cant. Hides perfectly under a t-shirt or jacket. Its comfortable and doesn't bother me sitting or standing. My G26 has been flawless from day one. I have done some upgrades/mod's to it. But I wouldn't take love or money for mine.

Only thing I never liked on the G26 was the finger rest on the front of the trigger guard.

So I removed it and now it works well in some of the other holsters I already own.

I don't think that's a finger rest. That's a combat trigger guard.
Resting your finger on that is bad form.

And that is why it's no longer there, it's worthless.
