Are these things reliable? Anyone? I'm looking for a pocket auto that is as near 100% reliable as possible. So far I've narrowed things down to a KelTec P11 or PF9, a Bersa Thunder .380 (with ball ammo for carry) or a Glock 26, slightly bulky but I can make it work.

I also considered J-frames but I'm not great with revolvers, they only have 5 shots and I don't feel like learning how to shoot one well due to time and expense. I'm already pretty good with the G26 and Bersa (used to own them) and have owned several J-frames but for daily carry, a J-frame just isn't my cup of tea.

The only gun I would feel 100% confident in from your list is the Glock 26. The rest are fine guns, but just not the same quality as the sub-compact Glock.

If you can make the Glock 26 work then why not?

I'm going to be making some pocket holsters for the Glock 26 this week, with a goal of keeping them as small as possible.

The first gun I ever owned was a Kel-Tec p-11. It was a good gun for the money. I never had a malfunction the whole time I had it. But the trigger pull was looooonnnnngggg and heavy. From there I upgraded to the Glock 26. 10 times more accurate and easier to shoot, but twice as difficult to conceal.

If you are willing to put forth the money for the Glock, I would recommend saving the extra $129 (average) and getting a Kahr MK or PM9. I have been through many guns and finally splurged on the Kahr PM9. I could not be happier. Its worth it.

I had a P11 and carried it for about a year. It was reliable with the right ammo - 'til it broke. Find the ammo that you find reliable and stick with it. And don't put a lot of +P in it.

I found my KelTecs not durable enough for a lot of practice (P11, P40, P3AT, P32). They just couldn't take a lot of use.

I had a P11, was pretty reliable but kind of heavy recoil and heavy trigger had me sell it off.
