if hard work was the way to be rich Mexican lettuce pickers would be rich. the fallacy that hard work makes you rich was a bunch of bull by rich people to make the masses slave away. for 40 years I defended rich people but not now. hundreds of billions stolen on wall st trillions missing in the pentagon tens of billions stolen in Iraq and afghan sears and other giants looted and thrown aside
BS. Hard work isn't the only factor, obviously. Folks content with picking lettuce or slinging baggage at the airport will never drive a Ferrari. Not everyone who works hard reaps a huge reward but plain few reap the reward without it. The sad fact is that everybody wants a million dollars a year but very few are willing to do what it takes to get there. And I'm not talking about the dishonest minority. You're falling right into Obama's divide & conquer class war, demonizing people who do not deserve it and making excuses.

Sorry but you're throwing out a whole lot of babies with the bathwater. You're judging the many by the few you see on the news. You can't judge all those who you consider "rich" by Kim Kardashian, Bernie Madoff or Paris Hilton.

Ah yes, urban renewal pioneered by a purveyor of PBR, Muscatel and Everclear.
I hear it's going to be a Spec's which is a fairly decent franchise. But then again it's just a rumor. Dollar General stores seem to be popping up everywhere around here so you never know. ;) Funds for a new police station and city hall have been defeated at the polls the last three times. I think it would be perfect for either or both. Plenty of parking for sure.

it does no good to complain to someone who is at the bottom of the food chain at these big box stores. in a lot of cases they do not even know who is setting these policies`, and have never even run across anyone from corporate, except maybe a regional manager who walks though the store for an hour or two a couple times a year.

Really I wasn't complaining, one time it was over the ammo prices, which I thought were ridiculous. Second time was a used SR1911 that was more expensive than the new one. I feel a company can price as they see fit. I just buy as I see fit. I never complained, I merely asked a question.

Of what I call the big 3, Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Gander Mountain, Gander was the first to open a store here in Arkansas. I had been to it maybe 4 times, since it's 2 hours away. We now have a Bass Pro. Camping World is connected to the Good Sam club of RV camp sites. I do feel sorry for all the employees. Even with sales experience, it can be difficult finding another job.

There's a Gander in Bowling Green. I went there a couple of times when I passed through, but the last few times I didn't even bother. I understand why they folded.

I bought an Argentine Sistema Colt 1911 from the one in Paducah for $249 10 years ago. Ugliest gun I own.
