From what other THR members have posted about Pruetts, your not going to get a deal there.


After I hit up the reliant gun show (there are 3 shows a year), there is no way I would ever go to a Houston gun shop other than to look. Say you want a Glock 19, Carters Country in the ad below is selling them for $560.00. If you went to the Reliant show, you can get the same gun(Bachmans Pawn, AJC, Shrams) for $440.00. Thats a $120 savings...........

Fountain and Pruett are both very proud of their stuff and it's unlikely you'll get a deal at either shop. Pruett is the cheaper of the two for transfers, handled by his wife Joy who is very reliable on that score. They're both kind of high for that, though.
