Garmin chronograph

I won’t be the first but glad other stuff kept cutting in line, in front of the Labradar for me.

I still want a Xero S1 though and now this…

Great! Maybe we will start seeing the price of used Labradar's come back down to reasonable for used equipment.

That looks pretty awesome. I am a big fan of Garmin having used their GPS units going back to before Selective Availability was switched off and their GPS units have been extraordinarily reliable for me. The form factor is great but it does seem to lack Lab Radar's ability to track the bullet going down range. Lab Radar will give you range and velocity of the bullet going down range as far as it can track the bullet (usually 70-120 yards) and that is a neat feature. Though honestly I suspect not many make use of that data. The form factor and simplicity of the Garmin unit is going to be really hard to beat. It getting harder and harder to resist replacing my old Shooting Chrony Alpha with a radar.

If I were in the market for a new chronograph , this would certainly be the the one I’d be ordering. I’ve had minimal experience with the Labradar but from reports battery life was an issue as well as aiming and the need for remote triggers to avoid missing shots. This unit solves all those puzzles
