Gauging Interest in 80% Carbine Kits

Hmm - buy an unproven design that I have to drill myself? And if it doesn't work, I can't return it b/c I've already drilled it? And it's not compatible w/ standard AR or AK stocks or forends? As pleased as I am there's another semi-auto design on the market, I'll buy one really cheap @ the LGS. Has to be cheaper than the Hi-Point - there's already aftermarket parts for that.
