Geco .22 semi-auto ammo

I shoot a Ruger 77/22 with a Bushnell Sportsview 3-9X scope. It's pretty accurate at 100 yards with Aquila ammo getting about 1" groups.
Today I bought some GECO .22lr semi-auto ammo on sale and looking forward to the weekend to try it out.
What I read on line is the semi-auto is just a little bit hotter than Standard but not as hot as High Velocity.
I know, I know, I'm shooting "semi-auto" ammo in a bolt action, but what the hey, like the salesman told me as long as it long rifle it will shoot.
Now let the discussion begin!!!!
Any thoughts?
Has anybody tried this ammo?

No experience with GECO 22LR, but I did buy a couple hundred rounds of 9mm, once.
That has been the ONLY 9mm ammo the choked my Glocks.

I've sold a few cases of it, and shot quite a bit myself... It holds as good a group and some of the $10/ box wolf, or Eley... It is pretty greased up though, so it can get cumbersome to reload mags, but it shoots damn good...imho.

It should be good ammo, depending on which variety it is and - like all rimfire ammo - if your gun likes it. Geco along with Rottweil & RWS is part of Dynamit Nobel. Swiss RUAG bought Dynamit Nobel in 2002 iirc.

My pistols love Swiss-made Geco 9mm - P210, Sig X5 TAC TB, BHP, etc. It was the P210 shooters who sold me on it.

RWS/Geco ammo is very widely considered to be excellent ammo, including their .22lr. As I understand, it's a German company, that manufactures in Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary. Also, from what I read, some of their ammo (9mm, 38spcl,etc.) uses bi-metal jacketed projectiles, so if the .22 is jacketed, there's a good chance it's bi-metal, if that's a concern.

I have used both the Geco "Semi Auto" and their "Bolt Rifle" .22 LR ammon with very satisfactory results. It is on the pricy side compared the usual US discount ammo but gives very good accuracy. The "Semi auto" ammo is slightly less accurate in our .22 bolt action Match rifles compared to their "Bolt rifle" ammo, but shoots more accurately then US high velocity ammo. It is a bit "greasy" but bore cleaning is not required after a day's shooting. Good stuff--if only they could get the price down, I would buy more of it,

I must've been thinking back to when i first came across some of this ammo, some 9mm labeled "RWS/geco", and when i looked further into it, it looked like RWS was German, and I wasn't fully aware (still ain't) of how the companies all merge, or where they fit in the hierarchy, but I didn't look any further.
I probably got that from something like this.......

I'd read on-line that the ammo I had was made in Switzerland, by a German firm, which i think was the case with the RWS/Geco i had..

I have had excellent results with Geco .32 acp, 9mm, and .45 acp.

Went to the range today and tried out this new ammo Geco 22lr semi-auto.
After I did some tweaking sighting in this was the results. All flyers that you see, I will attribute to shooters error plus it was kinda breezy out.
This is 10 rounds at 100 yards.
I think this is great ammo.
