After getting the trigger mechanism to break at a smooth and crisp 4.5 lbs using all OEM Glock parts and a little polishing, I took the new G23 to the range today to see how it did with an improved trigger.
Seems the more I shoot it, the more accurate it gets due to the stupid cerakote wearing off on critical surfaces and allowing a proper fit.
Groups are the best so far for this pistol with 2 1/2" and 2 3/8" at 25 yards...
I also shot the G35 for the first time with the new 2.5 lb Timney trigger installed. The G23 out shot it with every load I tried. But, new glasses ordered last week and looking forward to the sights not being blurry.
But, at 7 yards off-hand, the G35 smoked the G23 with a 5-shot group in which all holes were touching...
Still have a ways to go to find a load that is suitable for carry and very accurate, but I think the G23 will easily make my criteria for at least 2" groups or less at 25 yards for a carry pistol.
