"General discussion" not really general discussion?

saw a post about beer. got closed right off the bat. is the general discussion forum not the place?

is there a place here?

oh...and i really like guns, how about you? (just in case i missed something and this is solely for gun discussions )

I think it is covered under "House Rule #1".

1.) All topics and posts must be related to firearms or civil liberties issues.

Now I know over at AR15 they have a general discussion area. The "Do Chinese Restaraunts really serve cat" subject is pretty popular right now.
