General question about GunBroker

When you send the seller a question about an item, is there a place on the actual GB site that shows what you wrote and the sellers reply (I can't find one if there is)

OR

Is it just in your E Mail that you have for GB.??

So if you do not back copy to yourself there is no record of the question you sent,????

Yes, same here, so there is nothing on the actual GB website, right?
For some reason I thought there was but I have not used GB for a long time.

I don't think so. I'm pretty new on GB (5 deals) but like you, I can't find any messages on GB; only in my own email. Had an older gent repeatedly sending a question about a money order--I finally just emailed him directly.

I've not seen any messages posted or message files on GB. Not sure there's any way that GB can even archive them since the messaging links directly to private email. I've seen sellers update listings/add info based on questions they were asked, but that's about it.

You send a cc to your e-mail on file with GB by clicking a box. Other than that there is no chat or archive feature I’ve seen either.

This sends an email to the seller. When they reply it goes back through Gunbroker to your email.

When I message a seller I just send a copy to myself. Then if there's any question, I've got that. Most sellers respond to your question and if they don't it's probably a good sign you don't want to do business with them anyway.
