Generation 3 has arrived from Kel Tec

So now the SUB 2000 generation 3 - 9mm PCC has arrived.

They have made changes to address concerns that required some add on's to be purchased for the Gen I and Gen 2.

I guess if a guy runs out to buy #3 it is only a matter of time before the 4th rendition is released .

Guess I'll just have to get used to shooting an "oldie".......

Kind of makes you wish they could do a little more premarket testing and evaluation before hand.

With a life time warranty you do little actual testing beyond safety and let the customers do that and pay them to do it with your free warranty. Kenworth did that in the mid 90's with the T2000.

I bought mine to fold flat in a backpack so the Gen 3 doesn't do anything for me anyway.

If the internal trigger and hammer parts are still made of plastic then its a hard pass.

I already have a Gen 2 that is setup the way I want. Personally, I think the Gen 2 is a better option with a Midwest pivoting mount for a red dot. It folds flat and keeps it's profile very minimal.

The Gen3 will increase it's thickness when folded with an optic, makes for getting in and out of a thin pack not as easy.
