Glock 19 or Sig P226

I've been asking my self the same question (Glock 19 or Sig 226 / 229). All I've decided is that if I go with a Sig I'll get a 239. But the Glock 19 is still calling me. It's a tough choice. For capacity and finish durability you can't beat the Glock.

My wife bought one of these, in the DAK form. Its a fine weapon. The only downside would be the capacity. The Glock probably has an edge here, not to mention the finish durability factor. But, even then, Im just not sure I could pick a Glock over this gun. Its just too sweet.

I have a Sig P220 .45 ACP and a Springfield Armory XD .45 ACP. I bought the XD because of a) greater mag capacity, b) greater finish durability and c) I just wanted to keep wear/tear on the Sig down to a minimum. If I could choose only one of these, Id take the Sig as I believe that it is, overall, the better weapon. But, in terms of regular use/abuse, I figured the XD would be the better/more practical choice. This is how I feel about the G19 vs P226 argument.

I own a G19 and a Sig P229 in 9mm. Both are fine weapons, the Sig is more refined, smoother, and slightly more accurate. The Glock is lighter, thus gets carried more often, especially for all day carry. My favorite 9mm is my Sig, my second favorite is my Beretta 92. The Glock still gets carried more.
