I would've voted Glock 19 if I HAD TO go with one of the three on your list. Why? Plenty accurate enough, extremely tough, extremely reliable, same trigger pull every shot, and priced better while doing the job absolutely just as well.
Anyway, I didn't vote for the Glock. I also vote for the S&W M&P 9mm. In addition to being American made and priced better than any you mentioned, this gun is (IMHO) an improvement over other striker-fired designs, particularly the Glock.
The M&P
1) has better ergonomics. Fit is adjustable and grip is high.
2) improves on the Glock rail design by integrating the slide rails into the chunky steel trigger and sear housings, instead of just having little rails stuck in the frame plastic. There are steel plates embedded inside the frame to strengthen the points where these 'blocks' are pinned in place, too.
3) improves on the striker design by introducing air channels to the striker assembly channel, and provides ambidextrous slide lock and l-r switchable mag release
4) has a fully supported chamber for all available calibers
5) has a blocking tab designed into the extractor so it can't be blown from the frame
6) has conventional rifling so you can shoot lead
7) has an extended 'beavertail' section for recoil reduction, comfort
8) comes with nice steel Novak 3-dot sights, a steel recoil guide rod, and seamless steel bodied mags. Contact between the mag notch and the mag release is steel on steel.
And you can buy it for under $500, cuz its not an import.
I bought my M&P last fall. Haven't been able to shoot it alot because the ammo is scarce, but I do prefer it to the Glock I used to own. My next time to the range will involve some rested target shooting for groups, but last time I was just blasting away for fun and break-in, and was having no trouble pegging 12oz. soda bottles at 20-25yds. It's a very easy pistol to handle.
