Glock +2 Extension

Hey all I just bought a Glock +2 mag extension and it got me wondering do I need a different mag spring or will the factory spring be sufficient? I don't want to overload the factory spring by putting 19 rounds in the mag and the spring was only meant to work with 17 rounds. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Should say in the instructions. The stock magazine spring should work fine since it is only 2 rounds different. A larger magazine extension would be a different story.

In a word "no" I have used the 2 round extensions for several years and haven't changed anything. Just my thoughts from the Big Sky Country.

Never had a problem with them on my G20 mags with stock springs.

If your mag spring is new, then probably no but if the mag spring is worn/weak, you may get misfeeding with the last few rounds. When I replace my Glock magazine springs, I always use Wolff 10% extra power springs. Stock springs have worked perfectly for 20 years on a dozen different Glocks, nothing to worry about

Standard Mag and +2 Mag use the same spring. you should be fine.
