I have a 2nd generation G22 and have a question about the ejector. The ejector on this gun looks different than others I've seen. Where the ejector on my G23 and G19 is long and pointy, the one on my G22 is much shorter. It doesn't look or feel like it's broken, it just doesn't extend very far in comparison to my other Glocks. I put 50 rounds through it today with no malfunctions, but I'm concerned, as I use this gun for duty, and don't want to have any malfunctions. Can anyone tell me if this is normal for 2nd gen guns? This one has had the internal upgrades, I'm just concerned about the ejector.

Thanks for any help.

The part number for a G22 trigger housing w/ejector is 1896. You should find this number stamped on the side of the ejector/housing.

These 2 parts come together as one and that's why it is shown as one part in Glocks armorers manual. Hope that helps.

You said you use this as your "duty gun". I presume you are in LE or possibly private security. If you have a duty armorer he or she should be able to look and help you out.

Take Care,

Rob
