kind of off topic, but who is a reputable maker of 9mm conversion barrels for the Glock? Bar sto maybe?

My two conversion barrels are both Lone Wolf, the first one had an issue with Fiocchi 115 XTP cartridges so I sent it back to LWD with a couple of sample rounds so they could fix it, I had the barrel back in less than one week. That's shipped from Maine to Missouri, fixed and sent back in about five days. Can't get better customer service than that. One of the owners of the company also called me to figure out the problem before I sent it in. I feel fine buying from them again, and have. They also carry other manufacturer's barrels.

Do these conversion rules apply to the G22 to 9mm in the same way, regarding barrels and mags?

Yep, all the .40 Glocks. .357 Glocks are identical to the .40 Glocks, with the exception of the bore size and muzzle half of the chamber. I went ahead and bought 9mm magazines just because.

imho the best glock ever made is the 19. i own a 23 and i do like it, but that is because i load and shoot .40 pretty much exclusivly. 9mm is cheaper, therefore more training for your dollar, and if i was to do over again i would have all 9mm handguns instead of .40

as fas as size and ccw is concerned they are both the exact same size. i carry the 23/ 19 frame just fine.
