Currently I pocket carry a Kel Tec P32 or S&W 442, but have been thinking about getting something with more capacity/firepower to wear IWB.
I haven't fired a 9mm Glock, but I liked the G23 & G30 I tried and everybody says 9mm Glocks are excellent examples of the breed. I figure either a G19 or G26 would do the job, just want to make sure I can conceal the pistol in the warm t-shirt weather we have so much of here.
The CZ RAMI has the same 10+1 capacity, is about 1/4" longer, 1/2" taller, and is about the same width. The CZ is about 3 oz heavier and has a 1/2" shorter barrel.
I'm not sure of the best way to carry a RAMI. There's no decocker, so would it be lowering the hammer on a live round for a DA 1st shot, or better to carry at half-cock?
Both Glocks and the RAMI feel good in the hand. The CZ's absence of polymer frame makes it feel more substantial and I guess it'd recoil a bit less, but with Glock's low bore axis this may be nullified.
The Glocks appear more snag-proof without the external hammer.
I considered the Kahr PM9, but the combination of higher price tag hurts it.
Anything else to consider when comparing the G19/26 to the CZ RAMI as far as accuracy, carry-friendliness, etc?
