Which one Cz compact/RAMI,G19/G26

I started a poll a few days ago but after going to the range I might have changed my mine.The KAHr is out
I like the Cz compact D(decocker) but the Rami is smaller for carry
I also shoot the G19 and 26 pretty good,The guy at the range has the finger extension on his 26 which feels real good but I only shot it with no extension.

I want this 9 as a carry gun I have a 15 shot P95 for HD
I want a good carry 9 but I want as many rounds as I can get thats why Im not considering the 40.
Will the G19 and the Cz compact be just a little too large""
Will the G26 or the Rami carry better than my 38 taurus mod. 85,The cylinder width makes it a little uncomfertable.

I wish my RAMI was as light as a G26.

Both are outstanding guns and would serve you well.

For capacity, you could carry the RAMI with the 14 shot mag
like some people do.




However, I don't know of anyone who carries a G19 mag in a
Baby Glock.

Nowdays, I'd go for a RAMI P polymer framed gun to save a few ounces.

In regard to polymer frames.

With the introductions of the PHANTOM

and RAMI P in 2008, plus
the groundbreaking P-07 DUTY for 2009.

CZ is slowly coming into the light, and their guns will be able to compete with Glock, XDs and M&Ps, ect.

I went through a similar evolution a while back only the choices were :
S&W 60-9
Colt Officer's ACP
Kel-Tec P11
CZ Rami
Glock 27
I've had the Model 60 many years and carried it quite often. I really like it, but capacity is limited.
Love the OACP, but it is heavy and tends to poke me when carried IWB.
The Rami was much like the OACP, heavy and pokes me some. I liked it, but sold it and bought a 75B (for other purposes).
I like the size, weight and capacity of the P11, but it has a long, heavy trigger pull.
Which leads me to why I voted for the G26; I've found my G27 to be a great carry piece.
I like the weight and capacity.
It's pretty much devoid of sharp/pointy surfaces so it's doesn't poke me.
The short grip conceals rather easily for me.
The trigger is more than manageable.
Magazines are top notch and relatively inexpensive for what you get.
Quality aftermarket accessories like holsters and sights are readily available.

I have carried the CZ P01 for quite some time now, and the PCR, no issues in a good holster with good belt. I have also carried Taurus wheelies in the distant past, specifically a 605 3 inch, and the CZ is easier, for me, to carry and conceal.
The RAMI looks chunkier, but really isn't that much wider, and carries quite well. My wife carries her RAMI with the 14 round mag, in an HBE COMIII rig with no issues whatsoever. Shown here in her other carry rig by High Noon.

Before you go too small with your 9mm you should try out some full power ammo like 9mm NATO or some Gold Dot +P. If you prefer to carry standard pressure 147gr loads, then don't worry about it. However, +P and NATO loads are quite a handful in pistols like the RAMI and CZ Compact, and the G26. Quite a few compact CZs will give you a nasty trigger slap with NATO loads due to the high slide velocity of their light slides.

If +P is your load of choice, test those pistols with that ammo before you go an buy one. I voted G19 due to the versitility of the pistol even though I'm not a huge Glock fan. Also, consider taking a look at the H&K P2000SK, the S&W M&P Compact, or the Sig P239. They all eat up recoil quite well and full power loads are more controllable.

I carry a CZ-75D PCR. I think its the best all around handgun in their line up.

Or, if recoil is a serious problem, the CZ Compact, (original), is steel framed. Carried one myself some years ago, no issues. Not a decocker, though, even though I have seen exactly one factory steel framed CZ Compact decocker...had to complete the sale of this rare model to a lady who had no idea what she had purchased.

i would take a glock over a cz anyday, i would go with the 19 that imho is the best glock on the market.

Cannot go wrong with either the G26 or the RAMI. Both are reliable, just pick the trigger style you prefer. The G26 will carry lighter of course.

Don't rule out the G19, it only carries a tiny bit larger than the 26 and you gain 5 rounds capacity. It's my favorite polymer framed 9mm and I've had quite a few.

That's OK, possum, each to his/her own. As for me, I have had 300% more Glocks fail in my hand than CZs, but one person's experiance cannot be held against an entire pistol line.

I have two on the list. My PCR was the first HD/SD gun....the G26 came around a year later. It is nice to be able to choose between the two. One stays at home in the quick acess safe, the other on me. If you were to make me pick one of the two and only one....I think I would pick the PCR today.

I carry a RAMI-P very frequently and I love it. It's pretty light weight, IMO. It's one of my CCW guns. It comes with a 10 rd flush fit mag and an extended grip 14 rd mag. Both carry fine, although the 10 rd one gives it a better balance in the holster (less grip-heavy on a short barrel). It's really very accurate. Now that I'm used to it, I can get pretty tight groups every time.

I'm not a fan of the Glock grip angle. I just can't warm up to them despite my best efforts. I like their caliber offerings in 10 mm, but that's about it.

The PCR is a great gun, but the RAMI's a lot easier to carry and can have the same capacity mags.

I vote RAMI-P.

RAMI. because I like CZ and a 75 is a bit big for carry.

The 75 compact and PCR are nice, but for concealed I would carry a Rami.

Not a fan of polymer guns. Glocks aren't bad, But I prefer metal. So I would go with a standard RAMI.

I carry a RAMI .40 regularly so of the choices offered that's my pick. But I think I talked the wife into a CZ compact so I'll have one of those soon ( also .40)

Personally I wouldn't carry any thing but a CZ unless the choice wasn't mine.
