Currently I pocket carry a Kel Tec P32 or S&W 442, but have been thinking about getting something with more capacity/firepower to wear IWB.

I haven't fired a 9mm Glock, but I liked the G23 & G30 I tried and everybody says 9mm Glocks are excellent examples of the breed. I figure either a G19 or G26 would do the job, just want to make sure I can conceal the pistol in the warm t-shirt weather we have so much of here.

The CZ RAMI has the same 10+1 capacity, is about 1/4" longer, 1/2" taller, and is about the same width. The CZ is about 3 oz heavier and has a 1/2" shorter barrel.

I'm not sure of the best way to carry a RAMI. There's no decocker, so would it be lowering the hammer on a live round for a DA 1st shot, or better to carry at half-cock?

Both Glocks and the RAMI feel good in the hand. The CZ's absence of polymer frame makes it feel more substantial and I guess it'd recoil a bit less, but with Glock's low bore axis this may be nullified.

The Glocks appear more snag-proof without the external hammer.

I considered the Kahr PM9, but the combination of higher price tag hurts it.

Anything else to consider when comparing the G19/26 to the CZ RAMI as far as accuracy, carry-friendliness, etc?

The feel of each gun is diffrent. I have never found a glock that has felt good in my hand. CZ's feel as if they were made for my hand, so that is my choice. With these two being fairly close in size, capacity and reliability. I would give the CZ a small edge in accuracy. I would say your best choice is the one that feels better in YOUR hand.

Go with what you like best. About a year ago I was torn between a Rami and a Glock 26. I liked the look and feel of the CZ, but ultimately had to face the fact that I shoot Glocks far better than I shoot CZs. I went with the Glock and it is now my all-time favorite handgun. My CZ75B and Glock 21 have become safe queens.

Handled the RAMI, 19 & 26 some more today. The RAMI somehow feels fatter than the Glocks if you can believe that, and the example I looked at had the usual gritty CZ trigger.

I think I prefer the simpler Glock operation, along with the same trigger pull every time. Also prefer the glock sights to the faux tritium pale green dots on the CZ. :)

Now I just need to decide how important the extra capacity and pinky rest is on the G19, and if it outweighs the easier-to-conceal G26.

I'd go with the G26. I've never found the hanging pinky to be an issue. Of the subcompact double-stack 9mms, I think the G26 is the most proven - well, at least, I don't hear of many problems with them.
