Glock 26 vs. H&K P2000SK

HK any day.

I've owned both, and much prefer the ergos, quality and accuracy of the HK. I've owned at least 10 HK's, and none have ever failed, ever. I've never needed any warranty service, and every time I've called HK for a part, they sell it to me. This "HK hates you" internet nonsense has almost grown to epic proportions.

One thing I agree on is the NIB prices are insane. Bought all of mine used.

BTW, how are those Gen4 Glocks doing?:neener:

HK all day long. The internet garbage about HK customer service (CS) is written mostly by folks who have never owned one and have never used HK CS. Speaking of which, out of my 15 HKs or so, the only time I ever had to use HK CS was to find out which springs I needed to convert my standard LEM to "light" LEM. Travis was helpful, knowledeable, courteous and a real HK enthusiast.

The Glocks are fine for folks on a budget - I started off with them as well. But once I got to operate a HK, it was just a matter of time before they were all that filled my safe. Build quality, reliability, ergonomics, accuracy, safety - ALL better on my HKs.

And since I mentioned safety, do a Google search for Glock and accidental discharge. You'll find some very interesting reading, a bit more factual and useful than how HK hates you. Whatever.

"The original post did not ask if the HK was better, the question was was it so much better was it worth the extra money? I don't think it is because it pretty much has to be twice as good which I have a hard time imagining. Now if a Glock does not fit your hand then OK a Glock does not suit you but other than that I don't think so. A Glock is a good gun, a HK may well be a better gun, but its not that much better. Back in the 90s I had a Sig 226, I thought it was better than a Glock, I was single making a decent wage so who cared what it cost. When I lost the 226 in a divorce I bought a Glock. I still thought the 226 was better but it just was not enough better to justify the price difference when money was tight. If money matters its not worth it. If money isn't important buy what you want." -JohnBiltz

Sounds to me like this is a $$$$ post.
Yeah I agree they are a little more but...you get what you pay for like anything else. I'm no Glock hater by the way, hava G19
How bout if they all cost $500, what would you get? (just to even out the playing field)

It would still be H&K all the way.

Lets get a little off topic, how bout a Colt or a RIA, which would you pick? Probably the colt right. Although from what MANY people say the RIA will run all day with the Colt. $1000 or $500 same kinda deal (sorry that last part was a little unnecessary, just trying to make a point)

I feel that HK products are over priced. HK also hates you if you are a civilian. If you are a civilian then you are not worthy of touching their shining example of teutonic fury! Don't take my word for it-ben86

I wont. Ever had to use they're CS? Unlikely.
