Apocalypse-Now ... you said "they're not all bad, of course, but it's more of a gamble than just getting a non-SF one."

So did you mean that it is better to get a regular g30 and not the g30-sf butttttt .... they the regular g30's also have issues too butttttt only less of them??? :uhoh:

I have had my glock 30 sf for about 6 months now. This is what I carry. When I first got it the mags were real hard to insert compared to all other glocks I've owned/shot. Leave the mags loaded and in time they got much better. Have fired just under 1000 rounds between wolf, tulammo, pmc, and some magtec's. Not one issue so far.

The only place I know of that sells complete glock factory uppers, like a g29 upper for the g30, is glockmeister, but their prices on the uppers is so obscenely high you might as well just buy another gun.

Lol the regular non-SF g30/29's have no issues.

That's one of he reasons I bought a non SF g29 (same frame as g30), despite my small hands

You can Google to verify all this as well :)

Excellent pistol.I have put many rounds through mine and fires each time and very accurate. As mentioned, avoid SWC's.tried it once and it jammed. Byron
