Glock 23
Kimber CDP Custom II 5"
Dan Wesson Valor
Kahr p380

Those all get carried. The Glock and Kahr IWB, the 1911's OWB. Except for the p380, each has done 1000+ rounds since thier last failure. 2000+ for the Glock.

I only really trust individual weapons that have proven themselves, regardless of make and model, and the semiauto that I currently trust the most is MY M&P40. That said, more generally (and less stringently) I would trust M&Ps, Glocks, HK service pistols, 3rd generation S&Ws, and the current generation of Sigmas, at least based on my limited experience with and general impression of these semiautos. There can and always will be some "lemons" though, so I'd have to test the individual weapons to be sure.

Beretta or CZ.....Why, because everyone I own has been flawless after 1000s of rounds. Not to mention both brands seem to be quick, natural pointers with excellent accuracy.

I don't need anymore proof than that! ;)

I would trust any of the guns I own!
Why carry them if they will not do their job!
I own Ruger's and SIG's and that is just my personal taste.
Do not carry any tool that will not do it's job.
Guns, trucks or tools all the same. :uhoh:
I buy what works for me and will do the job!

Now every one is different so what I feel good with may not work for someone else.

That's why we have so many different guns.....:what:

Lateck,

P-11

Kel Tec P-11. After a few hundred rounds I have not experienced any reliability issues. That being said, when I graduate the academy I plan on buying a G19 RTF2.

Where is the word "carry" mentioned in the OP's original question? The point is, any firearm that might be used in defense of your life had better work. It doesn't matter if it's on your hip, in the glove box of your car, by the bed or in the safe, when you grab for it and pull the trigger, it had better go bang, bang, bang, bang, ....., bang! What I find interesting is what it takes for an individual to feel 100% confident in that firearm. 50 rounds, 100 rounds, 1000 rounds, 10,000 rounds? Also, it's possible that some of us have firearms in our collections that are strictly used at the range, hunting or even safe queens. Not EVERY firearm has to be trusted to work perfectly every time ... only the one that you have in your hand during a "dynamic critical incident" ... the latest/greatest catchphrase.

:)
