Glock 35 slide on 17 frame

What do I need to know about swapping a gen 3 glock 35 slide on a gen 3 glock 17 frame/lower. My 35 slide looks good on my FDE 17 frame I'm sure this has been answered before but I'm getting conflicting reports.:banghead:

Why wouldn't it work?

Gen 4 slides only fit Fen 4 frames, but that's not the issue here.

It's possible your striker won't interface correctly/safely with the trigger bar, but that's easily remedied and can be an issue with another complete 17 slide, as well.

My G-37 frame works well with the 17-c, 34 and 35 top ends just fine.
