Glock G27 slide on G23 Frame

Does any one know if this is possible?

The reason im asking is i want to have the rails that a Gen 3 frame has on my sub compact Glock.

Alternatively is it possible to put rails on a G27, not after market?

Going from memory, I think the front steel rail inserts in the polymer frame are in 3 different locations on the frame sizes in a Glock. While I can't say for sure, I'd guess it wouldn't work.
