Ok I got your attention. We are only 10 models away. Anyone want to guess what it could be when it comes out a few years from now? Just a fun thread. No rules. (Except normal THR rules).

It will be from the existing parts bin. That much is for sure.
19L for the people whom didn't care for the 45 or X.

Glock 44: .22LR
G46 twisty barreled 9
G47: full sized single stack 9
G48: G26 frame, G19 slide
G49: G17 frame, G26 slide
G50: .25 ACP full size, 40-shot magazine
G51: G49 in FDE
G52: G48 in peach
G53: G44 in 22WMR
G54: G42 frame, G24 slide, 9Mak
G55: break action black powder single shot, .41 cal

It'll be in 9mm with a G34 slide on a G26 frame for all the folks that just can't seem to understand the G19X and G45 (a full size grip with a short slide, produced by nearly every gun manufacturer on the planet, with the exception of Glock until the G19X and G45 showed up. Welcome to the party Glock, no matter how late you are).

Glock 55 will obviously be an Earth shattering popular firearm like a pocket Glock in .45GAP. Yes that was sarcasm.

50 AE is too close to "55". So it'll probably be the beginning of the 38 Super Glocks. First one will be full size and it will also mark the return of the infamous finger grooves.

Maybe it will have a half dozen manual safeties on it.
Aren't there enough current production Glocks to passionately love or hate without speculating 10 models into the future?

G49: G17 frame, G26 slide
I was hoping G49 was fullsize pistol for shooting 9mm Major (124 gr bullet pushed to 1450+ fps) - Essentially G22 with 40-9 conversion barrel with thicker chamber and barrel walls to better contain higher pressures but with new magazine to accommodate way longer than SAAMI max COAL to stuff extra powder in the case. ;)

Also with etched breech wall face that will imprint "DNR" on brass when fired to indicate "Do Not Reuse/Reload" :D

I'm hoping for the Glock 46 to be a 17 slide/19 frame and for the Glock 47 to be a 9mil/.40/.357 Sig carbine.

Samuel L : "The Glock 47, when you have to kill every bleepitybleepbleeper in the room"

I want the Glock 55 to be a carbine

Or a G42 or 43-sized 22LR

Or a G42 or 43-sized 32ACP

Or a G17 grip with 1.5 or 2-inch barrel and slide that ends at the trigger guard.

They'll get rid of the useless moon cuts on the front grip and then...

Glock47. A competition 3 gun prepped G34 with Warren Sevigny Comp sights, giant magwell, huge grip notches, and extended mags. Maybe the main pins could be set up as a through bolted gas pedal?
Glock 48. Same thing in .40. "Return of the .40''. Lightloaded .40 continues to gain popularity in competition.
Glock 49. A G41.4 with a 4'' barrel.
Glock 50. Same as G49 but in 10mm, with a heavy, but skinny slide. Weld in tungsten or something.
Glock 51. G26 frame, G19 slide, because it's a terrible idea.
Glock 52. G45 with integrated light built in. Like a permanent Surefire XC1.
Glock 53. A .380 version of a G19.4.

Glock 55 will be a 410/45 LC with a forward mag like the Mauser C96, called the Richter. It will be marketed as the ultimate stopper and its frame will come in a series of various putrid pastel lime and pink colors.

If this is a Glock wish list I want a single stack 7 + 1 45 acp with a 4" barrel With night sights and a light rail Under $500 BUX
