if I lived in a communist 10 round state, I would really want those rounds to count & would stick with a 5" 1911 w/ 8 round mags; .45 acp of course.
Hahaha, very true. California definitely has a LOT of gun laws. I would get a 1911 in an instant over the Glock or CZ, but man are .45 ACP round kinda expensive at the moment (they were 60 to 80 cents a round for the cheaper stuff not to long ago, ya?).

CZ!

My hands are, at most, average size. The CZ grips are the best production grips I've ever used, while the Glock's seem boxy.

The gun is tough, reliable, accurate, and easy to maintain. There's a reason it's been copied all over the world for almost 35 years.

I have to use Glock at work, qualify Expert or Distinguished Expert every year - can't stand 'em. Carry a CZ P01 and CZ PCR off duty.
With the mag restrictions in Cali I might go with the CZ-75 Compact, same safety system, steel frame, smaller size, 14 round mag in the free world. If you like lighter weight, the PCR is an awesome sidearm, decocker equipped, not safety, especially if you can get one of the rare as hens teeth CCW permits.
End thing is it's your choice, whichever fits you better, not us. :)

For range use and USPSA matches I use the longer barreled Glock G34, get a G35 in .40 and a conversion in .357SIG. I my area .357SIG is $24 a box and up, it does shoot well but is is very pricey. .40S&W is $13+ for 50 and 9mm is$9.95. I voted for the CZ 75b in 9mm the longer barrel and higher standard capacity are definite benefits, it should out shoot the shorter barreled G32, but step up to the G34, G35 and the Glock more than matches my CZ. I like both the CZ and the Glock, but the G32 compact, and the fullsize CZ 75b are a odd comparison, a G19 and a PCR or P01 would be easier compare the differences. Get a full size pistol for range use, my personal favorite range guns are: SIG P226, CZ 75b, Glock G34, Springfield Longslide 1911, all large frame pistols, the only compact that makes it to the range everytime is my CZ PCR. Glocks are good, seems people either love em or hate em, CZ's are less hot and cold, most buyers like their CZ. Either way you go Glock or CZ get a FULLSIZE pistol for range use, just my 2 cents.

CZ is always the right answer for me.

You may also want to add the CZ P07 to your list of choices, if you like a Polymer frame 9mm. It's chock full of features you'd expect on a more expensive gun while keeping a reasonable price point.

The polymer frame soaks up a tremendous amount of recoil. A Colt Delta Elite in 10mm has a much sharper recoil than my Glock 20s.

Well, yes, except I’ll venture Glock’s remarkable overall recoil reduction has more to do with the low bore axis; and, in 45 acp and 10mm, that wide backstrap has to help out a lot!

After shooting .45 Super rounds out of a H&K Tactical, and comparing the recoil to that of a Para Ordnance P-15 I had converted to 45 Super, I believe the polymer frame has the largest influence on recoil reduction.
