Glock collecting customers info

Much ado about nothing.
My Glock rep comes in and looks at the blue label folders to see if the NAME on the qualifying document - police or military ID - matches the 4473.
He makes no copies, writes nothing down, nor puts nothing in his lap top, but he does bring donuts.

I, too, am not buying the Trop Gun Shop story.

First of all, Glock ALREADY knows who bought the guns because they require credentials to be provided. So Glock knows who bought what.

From a privacy and gun control concern, that's the important information.

Providing Glock access to 4473's for an audit of this information is NOT the same as providing Glock with a copy of the 4473's. It's as simple as Glock having a stack of credentials for the people who bought their products to bounce off the 4473s to see if the data matches.

No more, no less.

What is interesting to me, however, is that I qualify for this program myself, as retired military. Which would be more exciting to me if I didn't think Glocks were ugly as sin in the first place.
